i'm so glad to have the day off. i just worked seven days straight, and we had the busiest weekend ever at the coffee shop. bloody wooden boat festival.
saw the aviator last night, and it was really good. beatiful costumes, good casting (jude law as errol flynn!), incredibly horrific and intense plane crash scene. leonardo dicaprio plays such a good crazy person that i'm inclined to forgive him for titanic.
i found a sandalwood fan at babylon, so to take my mind off the horrors of my week at work i'm making an embroidered and tasselled pouch for it, which will be much prettiness. i might use some of the little fake pearl beads left over from the elizabethan needlebook i made last year.
