(no subject)

eep! it was arabella's birthday on sunday, and verily it was awesome! much fairy bread was eaten (heart-shaped fairy bread, no less), and cupcakes on which i placed flowers made from marshmallows and smarties, and such like. i didn't get the child support agency job, but have several other applications in the works. meanwhile work at the old-folks home continues the same (and i mean exactly the same) every day, which means i longer actually need my brain! yay! and i have made pretty new renaissance garb from blue damask, with a properly box-pleated skirt, and two piece detatchable sleeves and everything. I'm making a couple of masks too, for a masked ball at the beginning of august, and gearing up for a huge weekend event at the end of september! more new garb! yayness! okay, enough of my sca geekiness. ahem.
