hurly_burlyhave had a lovely day. many loads of washing were hung out, and then we went to burnie with miss k and her littlies. we found a lovely big leafy park with plenty of play equipment and NO SWINGS (and thus no need to push kids on the swings until our arms fell off) and spent a thorooughly civilised afternoon there.
the small girl is about to have a bath and then an nice early night (she's currently wearing a grey woolen viking apron dress over her tshirt and jeans, very fetching), and then i'm going to do herbed salmon with lemon for dinner. can't decide between a salad or steamed vegetables, so i'll ask![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
not_an_elf what he'd prefer when he gets home, and i've put a bottle of rose in the fridge. yay. and yummy cheese for afters.
i am not going to eat another date scone before dinner. no i'm not.
