hurly_burlybaked gingerbread men with the small girl yesterday, she is much pleased. today i will take advantage of the damp and overcast weather to plant a lemon tree that i fear is on the verge of root-boundedness, and drive to the marvellous turners beach nursery in search of a bay tree. and glue and paint (finally!) her princess castle. and make homemade pizza for my beloved, who is spending the day working out in the rain at cradle mountain. i wish i had something more exciting to report, but my life is not very exciting at the moment. perhaps when i go back to work, or my long-lost half brother turns up with the other half of the pirate map our father left us in his will...
