we have moved house!
i have spent all day trying to fit the contents of my kitchen into the already quite full kitchen here, and it is slow work. however, with painstaking care and the throwing away of much, much crap, i'm getting there (those of you who have seen![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
not_an_elf's kitchen, the prime features of which seem to be inefficient use of space and inadequate storage, can appreciate what a feat this is). after that there's only the bedroom, dining room and spare room to sort out.

Not yay--whomever did the layout and design on that kitchen!
May you both have the time and the energy to fix that broken room *soon*! Real bench space, adequate cupboards and drawers, and better appliances are all needed.
Wishing I had the time to head north for a visit--I haven't been up that way in ages. Oh well, if I put lj down and do uni work, perhaps I can finish up, and then I'll have time again!
